Be Well Bath Melt

It’s definitely cold and flu season folks, and it’s no joke!! Luckily I have kept sickness at bay in my household this year by utilizing my essential oils every single day. It helps to apply your oils and diffuse on a daily basis to boost your immunity and purify the air.  The below recipe is one of my new favorites!! You can use this if you are actually feeling under the weather, or just to boost your immunity in general.

Step 1- Melt 2 cups of Coconut Oil on very very very low heat.

Step 2- Remove from heat and add your essential oils. For this “Be Well Bath Melt” I added 5 drops of Thieves, 5 drops of Lavender, 5 drops of Lemon, and 5 drops of Frankincense.

Step 3- Carefully pour the combined liquid into silicone cupcake holders, or ice tray. I used silicone cupcake holders. I personally feel like it’s easier to get the mold out of the individual containers, but’s it’s a personal preference. I also recommend placing the silicone holders on some type of tray so it’s easier to transport and less likely to spill. (I’m a klutz)

Step 4- Place the entire tray in the refrigerator for about an hour or until they are hardened throughout.

Step 5- Make sure they are hardened throughout and you can take them out of the holders. They are now ready to use! Be sure to store them in the refrigerator unless your house is a little colder than room temperature, otherwise the coconut oil is likely to melt. Drop one bath melt into your warm bath and enjoy!!

* The coconut oil might make things a little slippery, so don’t say I didn’t warn ya! *
